Half-day Kampong Khleang

We leave Siem Reap town and set out to the beautiful countryside where we will drive along the red soil roads through the villages. We will stop by the local fish market on the way where you can observe traditional Khmer fish trade, a daily event.

We then resume our journey with the visit of one of the most impressive flooded villages in Cambodia – Kampong Kleang. The village of Kompong Khleang is well-known for being flooded only during the rainy season, and the homes there are built about 6 and 8 meters high. We arrive at the port of Kompong Khleang, one of the most impressive floating villages in Cambodia. From here we will board a local boat and head out to exploration the flooded village.
At lunch time, we will take you to a stilt house in the village to share a typical Khmer lunch with very friendly locals.
